Centro SOL has recently created the UAC Workgroup that brings together community advocates and organizations, schools, Mayor’s Office and Hopkins professionals.
The group aims to figure out what can be done to support UAC newly arrived to Baltimore and their families. The group is on its early stages, but a lot has been accomplished with identification of main needs that include mental health support.
As the group moves along and define the actions, meetings are taking place and several professionals are committed to the well-being of these minors.
