Oct. 6 – The Health Advocacy Workgroup at Centro SOL and the Office of Public Health Practice and Training at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health presented this event to discuss history of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) and how it impacts Baltimore, immigration and human rights, and the impact that immigration status has on health. The goal was to educate and to empower professionals who may come across temporary status holders to take action in supporting them.
