Physical Health

Centro SOL innovates and creates solutions to provide clinical services out of the conventional clinical setting. Our programs are conducted in Spanish and provide opportunities for members of the Latino community in Baltimore to take care of their physical and cardiovascular health.

The Health Ambassadors program was modeled as a lay health education program offered to the Spanish-speaking community. The group meets weekly, offering health education and wellness activities to Latino families in Baltimore.

The DPP program follows a Center for Disease Control and Prevention-approved curriculum and meets for a 12-month cycle facilitated by the lifestyle coach who adapts the sessions to match the group’s background, interests and needs.
