Unifying Immigrant Families For Youth Suicide Prevention Summit

 

Unifying Immigrant Families for Youth Suicide Prevention (UNIFYSP) is a multidisciplinary mixed-methods study funded in 2018 by the Bloomberg American Health Initiative at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health to address suicide in the Latinx immigrant community.

The UNIFY-SP Summit is a meeting of researchers, community stakeholders, clinicians, and policymakers addressing questions in different domains of study on suicide and suicidal behavior in Latinx youth, with a focus on Latinx youth in immigrant families given the changing immigration policy climate.

Goal: a meeting to build a multidisciplinary collaboration to consensus on an urgent and achievable agenda to reduce suicide in the Latinx immigrant population
